Urban Chic: Central Studio in Reading Centre

The room was poorly ventilated, uncomfortably hot, with a persistent bathroom odor and lacking basic Positive: Nothing Negative: The room was extremely uncomfortable due to the lack of ventilation, as there were no windows. Despite having three fans, the room remained very hot and suffocating, making it difficult to sleep. I had to step outside at frequent intervals just to get fresh air. Additionally, there was a persistent unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. The kitchen was also not equipped with basic amenities, further adding to the inconvenience. Overall, the experience was disappointing and fell short of expectations.

Has given me ptsd to ever come back to READING Positive: Nothing especially the other bed the gave me was a blown up mattress Negative: THEY HAVE NO GIVEN ME THE MONEY BACK ( SAUNA SWET BOX ) I liked absolutely nothing about this property DO NOT STAY HERE , during the summer time they did not provide it with a fan that was working the fan was blowing hot air I messaged them and they ignored me so I had to ring booking .com and that’s when they decided to reply , there was no window either and me and my friend had to sleep in our car it was that hot they promised me a 50% refund of the night I have been chasing them down for over 3 months and they kept saying we are hearing back from the finance team until I said I was going to write a bad review , now they are lying and said the money should be in my account and it isn’t , so I have been left with no option but to write the review now . It was honestly so hot in that room it ruined my whole stay in reading AWFUL AWFUL SAUNA BOX

Negative: A nightmare to collect keys - host didn’t answer the phone until 11.30 pm !!! There was no air con and no windows so felt like a sauna.

Cracking apartment - make sure you know the T8Cs before you commit. Positive: Clean, well maintained! Negative: The need for the £500 deposit wasn’t clear when booking, and I’m not that keen on sharing my passport details with strangers at the end of an email!
